If it had come out ten years earlier I'd have watched it more. It was past my demographic, but still good.

No, I was not a fan.

Wasn't that sort of a Beavis & Butthead spin-off?

You missed out.
Took a couple of shows for me to get into it, but the show was damn funny once it got rolling -- just like Beavis & Butthead. Great characters.

The post-series movies are out on dvd but not the shows itself. I think they're wrapped up in further music licensing issues.

This was before my time so I've only seen a handful of episodes but I'll definitely pick it up when it's on dvd.

Yeah, I loved this show too. I was addicted to it for a while when it was on.

yes, "diarhhea cha-cha-cha", as beavis and butthead used to say, was a spin off.

i liked it. it was mean and bitter and had a pretty good soundtrack. it was also the last thing i can remember seeing on mtv that at least pretended to be countercultural.

I thought it was a great show, I gave my girlfriend a copy of "Is it Fall yet" one Christmas. She loves that show as much as she loves "Ghost World".

Funny thing is, I think I like Morrissey alot more now than when I did when that show was on. I might have even thought he sucked back then, but that is all chalked up to youth.

Does anyone remember a short lived MTV cartoon series called "Downtown" (I think). I have good memories of that show (I think).

I don't know about that, but I was working Friday eve and saw one of my co-workers, who was off for the evening, come in for a show with his betrothed. She was wearing a Daria tee-shirt. Rest assured, while neither she nor Paul might be fans of Morrissey, they are weirdos of the highest order.
