The James Brown thing was pretty insane, too. It's like a real-life SNL skit.

The Crispin Glover one, too.

Ehhh, it's easy to appear like you are openly wasted. It takes skill to do half an eight ball in 2 lines and go out and cut an actual wrestling promo.

I forget who it is, but there's a very famous scene where someone talks about having to act drunk, and the key to a good performance while drunk is to do what drunks do: try to act sober.

yeah, but cutting a wrestling promo is to ACT LIKE YOU ARE ON COKE.

to sit there and call a fag for 4 minutes and then tell someone that the movie might not mean shit but "it don't matter because i already got paid my $2 million". That's the good stuff.

The most obviously coked-up I've ever seen someone on live TV was John Belushi playing the Richard Dreyfus character from Jaws in the classic "Land Shark" sketch. Of course, Dreyfus was a pretty ginormous cokehead in those days, so it might have just been method acting.

If you ever get a chance to see this, take special note of the scenes Belushi does with Aykroyd (playing Roy Scheider's Sheriff character). Belushi is hyperventilating and sweating like Chris Farley after the Boston Marathon. AMAZING!!!

That's great. I remember that Crispin Glover thing on the original airing. Dave was so cool then.

Man, there's a lot of typos on that page. Cracked's quality is definitely suffering in the digital age.
