Obviously I know where a lot of allegiances lie (TJ42 and Crack with Cinci, the vast Philly, Chicago and ATL contingencies, the homoerotic Dallas Cowboy's duo of Loogs and FT, etc), but for example I can't remember an Obner ever mentioning being a Raiders fan.

So who's your team?

Me: Atlanta Falcons

I'd be curious to see how many of the 32 we can represent here.

Since the days of Darryl Lamonica and George Blanda... Raider Nation all the way.

i'm going to add a feature to hip displeasure this nfl season called, "mom vs. dad". dad's a dolphins fan, mom's a bears fan. when one team wins and the other loses, all sorts of things in the house get broken and they fight like cats and dogs. i heart football season.

Football's my 3rd, maybe 4th sport behind baseball, basketball, and hockey, plus I moved around a whole bunch growing up, so...

Pats
Broncos

But also the Texans and Dolphins.

(SU in college ball, regrettably as of late)

I really can't pick between the Pats and Broncos though.

I have been a fan of the 49ers since being a young child. However, when I want to watch good football, I typically have rooted for the Pats for the past half decade or so. I just want to watch a good team. I have been let down by the 49ers for a decade or so....now it's not about my team but about a good game.

GO PANTHERS. I'm a huge fan of Keyshawn when he was at the jets, although i am red-faced that i did not know he had signed for Carolina. Did he go Tampa last?

My interest in Nfl has decreased in the last few years as we only get a couple of games on TV every weekend over here and it never seems to be the jets anymore.

My new second team, Panthers!

Harry, don't you know you can get 25 to life for even mentioning Lamonica?

Or even Kenny Stabler. ;)

I am a Cowboys fan from before they had Herschel Walker. I also keep an eye on the teams from places that I lived: Chiefs, Falcs. And I was a Broncos fan for most of the Elway era, cos he bad (even if he can eat an apple through a fence)

He apparently still uses teh same skills to beat the shit out of people who mouth off to him, and whoop it up at bars in Orange Beach and the like. Still marginally employed as the Tide's radio announcer.

Have you ever caught that HBO special about Oakland teams from the 70s? Facking awesome. Well worth an hour.

I went to high school with a guy whose father was Stabler's roommate at Tuscaloosa. He wouldn't even share the really good stories.

Yeah, somehow I knew that harry was a raiders fan without even knowing it. It just makes sense, right?
