Man, that was a load of suck. They really only discussed Ohio State, USC, Texas and Notre Dame.
They picked the Heisman winner, Conference title winners and BCS Champion.

Here is the basic recap.
Brady Quinn or Smith from OSU to win the Heisman
Texas to win Big 12, Nebraska opponent in title game.
Ohio State or Iowa to win Big 10
Cal or USC to win Pac-10
Miami, Virginia Tech and Florida State all picked to win ACC, with Clemson being the title game opponent for Miami or Virginia Tech
Auburn to win SEC by most analysts, Tennessee and Florida were picked to be their opponent in the title game
West Virginia to win Big East, Herbstreit picked Louisville
Corso picked California and West Virginia in title game, Cal winner
Herbstreit picked Miami and Notre Dame, Miami winner
May picked Texas and West Virginia, Texas winner

The only time they talked about Georgia was in reference to Florida beating them last year. Nebraska was only talked about in regards of Texas and USC, and the Big 12 title game being a rematch of an early season game in Lincoln.

Corso is a jackass.
Mark May is a pompous blowhard.
The only one worth a crap on that show is Herbstreit.
Whatever happened to Chris Fowler? Rece Davis is OK, I guess.

But I fucking HATE Mark May and Corso.

I only really hate Mark May. He and douchebag Trev Alberts used to bicker back and forth about Pitt and Nebraska. Nebraska beat Pitt two years in a row, when the Huskers were arguably at their weakest, and May never gave Nebraska an ounce of respect for it.
I thought Herbstreit was almost more imbecilic than Corso during this special.
Fowler is supposedly being groomed to be ESPN's NASCAR expert when they start broadcasting races next year.

I'm glad the guy was a dominant defensive player from Nebraska and feel bad that injuries cut his NFL career so short, but that doesn't mean I'm going to sit back and watch this guy make an ass of himself and Nebraska on national tv. I never thought he should have gotten canned from ESPN, but I think he did a better job when he worked with CNN doing brief football analysis work.
As a Notre Dame fan, I think you would be cringing every time Lou Holtz or Rocket Ismail are on tv do analyst/commentator work. They damn near make Alberts seem like Chris Fowler.
I'd still take any of the gimps on ESPN over Terry Bowden and both Craig James and Tony Barnhardt are pretty low on my list too.

Yeah, I can't stand either one of them speaking in public, especially Lou "Thufferin' Thuccatash" Holtz. There's a long list of ND alums who have embarassed themselves via broadcast incompetence, including the never-sober Paul Hornung and personality-free JoMo. Aaron "The Mulatto Grossberger" Taylor is pretty lousy, too.

I know everybody hates Theismann, but when it comes to ex-Domers in the booth, he's the cream of an otherwise rancid crop.

This is why Trev Alberts is a complete douchebag

Here is his top ten for CSTV, his new employer.

1. Auburn - The Tigers are loaded and new def. coordinator Will Muschamp is a stud.

2. Michigan - Relax. The talent that you oooohed and aaaahed about two years ago is back.

3. LSU - Great skill players. Sept.16 at Auburn will tell the tale.

4. Florida - If Urban can stay out of the way!

5. Ohio State - The only question is defense. Anyone better at reloading than Tressel?

6. USC - Best defense in the country.

7. Notre Dame - Just play zone!!

8. Texas - Just pick one QB, please.

9. Georgia - Three all star running backs.

10. West Virginia - Toughness defined

No offense to Georgia or Michigan for that matter, but neither of these teams deserves to be in the top ten going into the season. Michigan has no place being anywhere near the top 15 after last season. I realize they have supposed talent that didn't show last year and alot of potential, but they lost to a Jeckyl and Hyde Nebraska team that is sitting somewhere around 18-22 in most polls and picked to be no better than 9-3 or 8-4 this year.
Plus, Auburn might be the best team, but four SEC teams in the top ten is too much. I admit that they are the best conference, but no way do they get four teams in the top ten.
