...for a wedding this weekend, but now I'm afraid it's too casual/young.

The wedding will be pretty formal, what do you all think?

It takes a lot to impress me in the dress department but...

It's beautiful! I love it. Love the style (that tie at the back of the neck), and love the print. Nice work. You can find other ways to dress it up, I'm sure (shoes, hair, jewlery, etc).

it's a very nice dress, fick, especially because it's not stereotypically formal. hair and make up are the key here. you're going to stand apart and look great.

great dress, fick... remember, JEWELRY! Understated yet elegant, and yes ditto on the great hair style.

Is the wedding outdoor, during the day, at night???

After watching The Emmys last night, I will never look at another dress the same way again, thanks to that FANTASTIC number worn by Virginia Madsen in all her curvaceous glory. Oh, and Katherine Heigl's was pretty damn, um, "Golden Globe" worthy, as well!

Can people other than the bride wear white to a wedding? (Yes, I see the pattern.)

I confuse her, by name, anyway, with Jessica Biel. All the time. But I know that Biel's done a bit more, of late. What's Heigl been in?

... And, no, I don't mean Meatbone. Though we know he's been all up in S-Poet.

If a woman owns the dress to a wedding... There will be no issue. A gal wore a dress similar to this to my wedding
http://img2.etsystatic.com/002/0/694103 ... 6_ii0e.jpg

Not quite as splaid, but not too far off. She wore it with confidence, it was fun, and everyone complimented her on it.

Be bold and confident and you will be fine
