I'm givin' him one final chance to return to the brilliance of his debut album. If/when any of you get this, PMYSIPLSKTHX.

I dug both albums so far about equally. Not ground-breaking, but solid and enjoyable, if a little whiney sometimes.

I get them confused on shuffle a lot. Similar sound.

I LOVED his first album, but the second one went way too far in the overpolished radio-ready OC-plug-n-play direction. There were a couple of good tracks on that second album, but my fear is he's much more likely to keep heading in that direction than getting the ship righted and headed back to his original sound.

I chatted up a DJ enough one day to get free tickets when he was touring for his first disc, but that particular show ended up being cancelled.

I remember seeing him when he hit on modern alternative radio whatever. The crowd was full of just adoring people and lots of enthusiastic young ladies just going ape-shit over him.

And he was totally boring. I mean, he hardly had to do any work - he smiled and the place erupted into cheers - and he so failed to rise to the occasion. Total cock behavior.

I always like 2 songs from each album. My favorites are "Murray" and "Long Way Down." If anybody liked those songs, I'd be interested in knowing if there are stand out tracks from the new CD. I doubt I'll buy the whole thing. I'm about to take a serious pay cut at a new job.
