American tv tends to cut out anything questionable. Spike is a basic cable channel that while people pay for it, still censors films. Don't ask me, I don't get it either.

If you're watching Caddyshack or Strange Brew for the plot, you've got bigger issues than the mere lack of a sense of humor.

youre missing my point. comedies arent immune from plot. animal house had a plot. blazing saddles had a plot. airplane had a plot. its clear even comedies that are overtly irreverant and nonsensical have something resembling a plot. caddyshack doesnt have it, or something close to it.

you couldn't even get the actors names right so i think your argument is invalid.

To me, Caddyshack has just as much of a plot as Animal House and Airplane.
Both Animal House and Caddyshack have loose and simple plots that rely on classic lines and wonderful comedic acting. To me arguing about the plot of Animal House versus Caddyshack is like arguing the merit of dick and fart jokes in one movie versus another movie. I don't remember much of an argument in your initial posts and I have to wonder why this has become a film school debate.

Dangerfield makes this movie. I have wanted to be his character since the first time I saw this movie.

Chevy Chase is pimpin outta control as well.

I didn't realize there were people over the age of 12 who haven't seen Caddyshack.

Jesus, I guess I missed this insanity when I was away. I'm on record enough with my love of Caddyshack. Shit, I think FT and myself traded away quotes for an entire afternoon awhile back.
