I've been really thinking about getting one, i have a small obsession with playing it along with the other instruments i have now. Anyone got one? Anyone think they're as sweet as i do?

I say absolutely get one. Just dont use it too much. Like other gimicky toys (E-Bow, Talk Box, bowed saws, etc.) a little bit goes a long way.

And post some tracks once you get the hang of it.

No, you maroon! You must be thinking of what one takes when they become sick of playing or listening to the theramin.
