Red Sox record in August. Only two games above Toronto now.

With injuries to about 145 players now, I'm beginning to think a lay-down is being staged against someone in the organization.

Or there's a philosophy of coddling that needs to be kicked in the ass Leyland-style immediately.

Just a month ago they had about a 700 game lead in the division. Then they lost 683 straight, including some games on next year's schedule and they fell through a time rift and replayed the whole 1971 season, losing all those games as well.

i would have traded wells for a bag of balls and a case of sugarfree red bull. might as well get some potential. what are we going to do with a couple more wells starts, try to stay in front of the jays?
