what are the albums that, for you, once you get them rolling, you have a damn hard time stopping listening until the whole damn thing is over?
You GOTTA listen from beginning to end in one sitting!

For me:
Guided By Voices - Alien Lanes
Brian Eno - Another Green World
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds

All just flow so well, so smoothly that they're like a single piece. A single, perfect piece.

You?

Understood. I have pretty well garnered that I am the only Obnerite -- hell, "indie" "fan" period -- that prefers WNQ. That's a shame, too, but what can I do?

An obvious choice, but a great one, for continuous listening. Especially if my Sabbath discs are too scratched-up to play.

So true. Derris gave this to me for a late birthday present, and it is awesome. Although, if I don't start it from the very beginning, I can skip ahead to 'And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" and be done with it ;)

I thin Abbey Road applies here. I know some people poo-poo Octopus' Garden and Maxwell's Silver Hammer, but I like the album as a whole.

Same with Led Zeppelin II.

and lately, Pete Townshend's White City. Of course the latter is a 'novel' so you shouldn't really stop it anyway.
