i just found some really hot 45s sitting in a thrift store (29 cents a pop), with nobody around to appreciate it:

arthur alexander - bye bye love dj promo copy (!)
mongo santamaria - cold sweat / dock of the bay
doris duke - feet start walking
jimmy castor bunch - troglodyte (sampled on nwa's "gangsta gangsta")
five stairsteps - ooh child

what have you unearthed lately?

quiet nights on the town, good sense of humor, mexican food and sushi to your hearts delight, and plenty of horror films....

oh wait, me or the band?

the band, my immeidate reaction was The Killers meets The Eels... quirky pop rock, but some moody weirdness in there too.
