Yeah, I'm really enjoying this. I've probably spun it about 4x in the last day or so. I didn't expect to like it this much.

I've heard really good things about it except for from people that are obsessed with all kinds of hiphop and for some reason it sucks to them. I'll probably hear it eventually.

The new Roots Tonic disc---matisyahu(?spelling?)'s back up band is some completely mindbending dubstep dancehall reggae.

Listening to Game Theory, as I type -- wow!! What an incredible hip-hop album. The Roots are back in their best form, since Things Fall Appart.

Agreed, possibly the best Rap album of 2006, thus far.

Thanks-a-ton,

Bill

I'm really surprised with all the good reviews. After the last few albums, I thought for sure they were done. I need to check this out.

I saw this on AMG on the front page and though it was a new Game Theory album, not the name of an album by a rap group.

Can we have a reissue of Lolita Nation already!!

Game Theory is good and DARK.

It's easy to listen to from front to back too - my type of album.

not crazy on the 'songs' (which i know is not the point. and who's crazy on roots songs anyway) but yeah, its fierce

the best produced album i heard in a WHILE. 'the mix' wise, nothing is out of place. i like how everything is sharp and streamlined. no extra fat around the edges

oh yeah, return of malik b (who gives black thought a lesson in rap?)

yeah shit is super produced. mix is seamless. gets me all warm

when 'false media' builds up steam

also, compare the last verse on the title track to the ones before on it

yeah, thats what im talking abt
