Maybe he'd start playing halfway decent if someone broke his fucking leg in the pocket.

They don't need to toughen up. They just need to show up. ND looks like easy pickins.

Arkansas' defense has been impressive, especially considering the scrotum removal and subsequent feeding from USC last year.

I really shouldn't be surprised that #2 is playing like number two.

I think Georgia Tech would have at least 20pts by now if they had an OC who knew what to run on 3rd down and showed a little effort on 3rd and 1.

Notre Dame does not cover, so I still win, that is pretty sweet.

The Hogs are now down 30-7, but they should catch a bowl bid this year.

The offense needs some confidence, but the defense looks pretty stout.

True Freshman Mitch Mustain named starter for Arkansas vs. Utah State next week.

np: Kentucky at Louisville

That Louisville game is already a blow out. Why is it both Louisville and Kentucky can be basketball powers, but the Wildcats continually suck at Football? Are all the best football recruits leaving that state?

Man, I feel bad that Michael Bush of Louisville broke his leg, but there is no way that they should be considered close to a top ten team. Any team with a good offense and a decent defense could beat them. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave up 40+ to Miami or West Virginia this year.

Yeah, but they'll still hammer us--our secondary was downright porous on Saturday--NC converted more third and longs, greater than 10 yard longs, than I could count.

Brohm's a decent passer, but it will be interesting to see how well he does when teams start rushing six.

This quote is classic, though...

I figured I would post this here, rather than start another thread. Texas starting CB Tarnell Brown was arrested on gun and marijuana charges, both misdemeanor charges. He's suppose to cover Ted Guinn Jr, when they play the Buckeyes this weekend.

Where's the UGA Running game today? They have arguably the best corps of running backs in the country and only have 65yds and are only averaging 2.8 yards a carry. Joe T hasn't been that sharp either, but hasn't thrown a pick yet.

I dunno. They've scored 41 points but havent really done anything spectacular on offense. That's kind of Georgia's MO a lot of times though--they just beat you on defense and then capitalize on lots of short fields.

Yeah, nothing special from Joe T. either. He throws a really unimpressive ball IMHO. Stafford has played (which means he definitel wont be redshired) and appears to have a cannon.

We win ugly. Yeah, Joe T. has a limp noodle, and I thought if you played under a certain amount of time, you could still be redshirted. I'm not really up on the rules.

Nope, if you play one down in a game you lose one year of eligibility. The only way you can redshirt for that year is if you happen to get hurt and apply for a medical redshirt due to only playing a small percentage of the season, usually under three games.
Harrison Beck, the former Nebraska back-up QB who is now at NC State, played one series against Kansas State last year and burnt his redshirt year.

Stafford looked like John Fucking Elway out there. Even that safety was kind of awesome the way he got up and brushed the dirt off his shoulders. He's ready for the laughing gas, and I say start him nesxt week. Start him and Ware and make South Carolina beat em. Henderson's fuck up was bad, but awesome considering he is our #2 punt returner, and he, in a theme for UGA, brushed these hoes off and went out and did his damn thing.

ND got lucky as fuck. GT got jobbed on that call and that was the beginning of the end. I will say a good hard first game scare may do wonders for them. Weis is gonna knuck cos he buck in practice next week.

Cal gets the fucking Gas Face, and if you EVER doubt SEC's dominance, just refer to those tapes.

And then when he throws five INT's do you leave him out there like JD did with Quinthy and fuck the dude's head up for serious?

I'm not convinced that on the road in the SEC is the place for a Freshman starting QB's despite what I saw from Staff last week.

I'd have my finger on the trigger in-game if I were Richt though.
