A spell check and some album covers wouldn't have go amiss though!

I was going to do album covers originally, but then time was awasting, so I skipped it.

I was too slow with my blurb - sorry for hanging things up, shmoo and kev. Thanks for putting this together.

spell check? i "set" all of this in Word, with the automatic spellcheck filter going...

hmm.

entirely on the basis of reading Guapo's review earlier this week, i picked up Drive-By Truckers. a bit american rock *heavy* for my melodic senses, but i can see this becoming a vital listen at some point for me.

i have my "not a fan" feelings about Funeral, but because i couldn't stand people taking cheap shots at fans of/the Meadowlands, i have refrained from going off on it here.

i'm surprised to see Iron and Wine charting this high...

wha?

i just looked back at the file that i sent and it has *one* visible error that isn't a made-up expression that Word wouldn't recognize. nothing's at fault in either of your pieces DC.

confused.

It says "Drinky Cow" under each instead of "Drinky Crow". No biggie. I think I'm the only one who ever notices that.

I'm long, long overdue for a new username.

I don't think I voted for but one of those.

Just curious -- how much more effort would it be to do the next...I dunno 20? 80? without descriptions. If it's too much, no worries, just thought I'd ask.

EDIT: Never mind, saw the other thread.

PS Thanks for all the effort, I may still investigate a few of these, even though I've just officially lost my indie-hipster-snobbishness.

Not to suggest that whiney's a shitty writer; I don't reckon he is. But his self-assessment is what mattered, what with the volunteering.

Oh, my. I just realized that the Obnerite Collective reached the same consensus as to number one album as the Pitchfork staff. Damn. What are we to do?
