Gracenote (www.gracenote.com) have released a site similar in ways to Last.FM.

I put up a site, seems pretty cool. It's still running through my digital collection. Check it out here....

If anyone puts up a site, post links here.

Yeah, I've been on it for a little while. Found out about it through Fu.

cool man, added.

i'm noticing while it's going through my collection that it says "could not identify". is that because the release isn't in a list already on the site or that it just cannot be identified as a file?

It probably is because it's too new. I remember when I was listening to the new Mars Volta a couple months ago, the album title was right, but the band was showing up as "Various Artists."

Also I think the site might be busted right now, it hasn't updated my "recently played" or "top artists this week" in forever.

Does anyone on here have a Primo ($9.99/mo) subscription to MOG? It looks pretty awesome but I'm looking for others' opinions before diving in. Are there limits to the number of songs you can listen to each month? Other negative aspects worth noting?

what exactly do you need?

I would check out grooveshark for free first- no audio ads/no listening quotas on free accounts (yet)...

I'm sort of looking for a replacement for emusic that's cheaper I guess. What I like about MOG is I can listen to any album I'd ever want to (I think) but am concerned I'd only ever have access to it when I'm in front of a computer rather and I listen to my iPod more than anything (I have an old one, not a Touch).

Thanks for the tip on grooveshark, I'll check it out.

MOG and grooveshark also have phone apps - not sure how reliable they are.. but that is another option if you are into the crazy-ninja-phones..
