No sense in being productive today. The slightest movement makes me sweat. Even the dogs are lethargic and just laying about.

I tried taking a nap -- no go.

Tried doing some laundry -- then, remembered about it best doing laundry when electricity is not at its prime use. I'll do it this evening.

My neighbours are all poolside next door. Bastards.

It's even too hot to drink beer. There...I said it. It's too hot even for alcohol indulging.

Maybe I'll put the sprinklers on and sit in the middle of 'em.

Damn, T--it was only high 70's when I was visiting LA last month. I was hoping for 90's. What gives with the heat wave in September?

An ice-cold martini would likely help.

No kidding. Overnight it suddenly went all chilly and windy. It's never like this in September. It's barely like this in October.

It looks downright temperate in Toronto right now ... Get used to September kiddies.

I've been couchbound by an ear infection, cloudy weather, and US Open tennis. One out of three ain't bad.

Waaaa? Where are you- SoCal, right?

It's gorgeous here in NorCal- warm, but with *cooling delta breezes...* ...very nice.

*Radio announcer voice.

Hmmm. Better vote for Gore in the next election.

It's actually ridiculously hot here in SK. Uncomfortable even, so I empathize with you, Tania; although the 'too hot' for alcohol indulgence is just not in my vocab. I'm decamping for the coolness of the basement pretty soon.

Would love to! One day...one day...

It's 6pm and 89 degrees. I think I'll venture outdoors now. I was supposed to do gardening today...pffft, that obviously didn't happen.

Beautiful spring day here - mid 20s (70s F) and a bit of a breeze.

Unfortunately I've been inside most of today so far, but am about to head off to my one class since the other one just got cancelled, wander down to Newtown and pick up a few cds then come back and sit on the balcony listening to them while studying for a Japanese test tomorrow.

I'm so glad winter is over
