Modular Records is releasing 'Nite Versions' here next month, so Soulwax is finally coming here! Is this their first Chicago appearance as the rock outfit? I believe it is???

i'll hopefully get my tickets tomorrow. i refuse to pay ticketmaster fees for venues with box offices, but some of those box offices have inconvenient hours. it's a hassle. this should be a good show, even though i still don't really know what to expect with a billing like "radio soulwax presents nite versions and 2 many djs." isn't that 3 soulwax-related projects?

I'm thinking the following day might be a ....*cough cough*...sick day. Club closes at 4am.

Fuck, I am so tired. Two hours more before the doors are even open at The Vanguard. And probably another 2-3 hours waiting 'til the action begins. I am soooooooooo tempted to go home, but if I miss Soulwax and 2ManyDJs, I'll be kickin' myself in the ass later for not going.

Maybe I'll take a nap in the car.

Maybe I'll take myself to dinner to kill some time.
