favorite elec-related release so far in 2006?

so the year's 2/3 over and i'm stumbling over what my favorite electronic-related release so far for 2006 is. i'm thinking either girl talk or junior boys or herbert, but no clear topper.

what's your fav so far?

Junior Boys or Herbert are indeed good choices for this year so far.

Also, that new Massive Attack single, United Snakes is wickedly good.

Absolutely magic. Not only one of the finest this year, but finest that I've ever heard.

i'm still obsessed with Nathan Fake; his record is the newer version of ulrich schnauss i've been secretly longing for. the booka shade is pretty dope too, although much colder and clubish.
and of course i've much love for ellen allien and apparat. The Helios record hasn't really hit me yet, however. not that it might not, but not yet at least.

Not bought much electronica (a sign of getting old I think) but the Nathan Fake album is really great.

'The Sky Was Pink' blows me away every time.

you won't be "blown away", but it really is engaging music. the album flows so smoothly, and is incredibly emotional.

Trentemoller, Alex Smoke, and Herbet. Gonna have to re-evaluate Nathan Fake; I was really really into the Alex Smoke disc at the time and it overshadowed Fake's stuff by a large margin.
