It's a shame we don't have any huge clubs that cater to this style of music around here. I guess Nebraskans just don't feel it.

Yes, Death From Above 1979 broke up, DFA is a community/label type thing from New York that is known for remixing indie bands like DFA 1979.

giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl i'm talking about DFA records - the indie electronic/dance punk division of astralwerks home to lcd soundsystem, juan maclean, hot chip, the rapture, black dice, shit robot, delia gonzalez/gavin russom.

this tour is to promote the dfa remixes ch. 2.

i really hate the vanguard but i'm definitely not missing this.

stacey - i wanted to check out serena maneesh at the troub before... but i'm waiting to hear more info from the label about dj set times and what not for this dfa party. it's gonna be a great weekend!
