I meant I have the latest that eMusic has which is "Horn of Plenty".

Edit: which I realize is not what you want.

I'm a big fan of this record for what its worth. It's a lot different than Horn of Plenty. It's way more psychedelic and fully realized. PAst stuff has seemed like an interesting bedroom folk kid noodling around with his toys. This album feels like a real band really digging into it.

Never heard of this band before this thread, so I downloaded Yellow House and I really like it so far. I'll upload it for you, neuro.

I was listening to this on bleep last night, and I really like it. I'll probably be buying it soon.

This is a great album... it's post-rock, neo-folk, novo-psychedelic.... but for some reason sounds unlike anything else. Maybe a weird connection but to my ears it's almost like Sufjan Stevens , if he had a bit more guts, less self-satisfaction, and some rough edges.

It was good on first listen... and has grown on me since then. One of the few surprises this year.

Dov gave me 'Horn of Plenty' as a Birthday gift last year. I probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise and I like it.

I'll put the new one on my list.

But I sent you the best card ever. EVER. You can't call that card just paper.

(now freakin' talk about the music, you're ruining the thread)

i can't place a RIYL yet, but here's one from another thread:

As usual I very nice list mister.

I brought two Jason Molina albums to work with me which I will most certainly listen to today.

Grizzly Bear + Man Man .... RIYL?

Why thank you. Have you gotten that Tortoise box yet? It's absolutely worth it if you haven't, assuming you don't already have a majority of the material on it (all non-album stuff).

I'm pretty pleased with both of those Jason Molina albums. Not real standouts among the rest of his catalog, but still very good.

I'll take a shot at those RIYLs (to be taken with a grain of salt):

Man Man: Tom Waits, Need New Body, I don't know. A fairly unique mixture with a carnivalesque (but not too circus-y) sorta vibe.

Grizzly Bear: Think recent atmospheric pop w/ fleshed out arrangements and subtle orchestral touches, but I'll have to get back to you on specific RIYL. It's got that very modern indie pop sound. A lot of different instruments are employed, but it doesn't have a "kitchen sink" feel. It's very coherent and theme-oriented almost to the point of seeming like a concept album. Generally sort of laid back and dreamy.
