Anyone know anything about this release?:
http://www.amazon.com/Live-Fillmore-Eas ... 49?ie=UTF8

I haven't been able to find out much, but I think this was from the concert series that had Miles Davis and the Bitches Brew band as his opener. So maybe the vault is finally starting to open up?

Didn't I hear that stuff from Bill Graham's huge stash of Fillmore concert recordings was going to start coming out? Maybe that's the vault that's opening, not Neil's. 'Cause Neil's just a tease with his vault stuff.

CBS Sunday Morning did a piece about this a while ago; thousands of mint condition posters, tickets, tour books, and especially concert tapes and (later) videos.

They're selling original and repro posters and stuff at Wolfgang's Vault, and they're streaming concert audio there too, but none of the vintage concert tapes have been released as of yet. I thought I heard that was changing, but I'm not sure.

This is a must have Neil.

Speaking of the Fillmore... the SF Fillmore is like a temple, a museum, to rock and roll. The posters in the bar upstairs is like a cathedral... Traffic side chapel... Quicksilver Messenger Service... Miles Davis and the Dead on the same bill...

My favorite pic used to be one in the stairs up to the bar, of Townshend throwing his guitar 20 feet in the air at Winterland, circa 1974. I was either there or I dreamed it. Pic is available at Wolfgang's Vault for $600 if anyone wants to tell my partner what to get me....
