Is Fire & Ice still around? Is that even in Boston?

I'm sure Boston has a huge gay scene.

Personally, i would want to know where to eat, and what to order.

That's just me. So when i put out a thread like this, you'll know what i need.

Fire & Ice is in Boston, but I often get sick when I eat there. Like two out of three times or something.

Harvard Square has declined (even more stuff had closed when I was just there on Tuesday) but is still fun. Bartley's is a great place to get a burger. Mmm... I want one now.

You could go to Great Scott (corner of Commonwealth and Harvard in Allston) on Saturday and potentially meet DS Bruce and others. I don't recognize any of the bands playing though (Pattern is Movement, Mason Proper, the Never).

My wife was born in Boston, and knows the city well. I think I have that part covered. But not so much on the hip places to go.

Bars I liked: Great Scott in Allston, River Gods in Cambridge, Enormous Room in Cambridge

Not been in a long time, but liked back then: Our House in Brighton, Miracle of Science in Cambridge, B-Side in Cambridge

Never went, but heard good things: The Model in Allston

Oh please do, because then I'll have a better reason to be offended by your malice. Please use my imperiousness as your excuse, although it seems like you probably don't need one.

come watch a premier league match with me at a pub on saturday.

the bodyworlds exhibit at the museum of science looks cool

charlie's in harvard sq., bukowski's on boylston st is one of my favorites--great beer seletion., breakfast at renee's cafe in davis sq. is a bit of a hike but t-accessible and fucking great, the museum of fine arts is always a good bet

no wait, i've got it. . .

the harvard museums (fogg, sackler, and busch-reitzinger) are amazing and could be paired with any of the following. . . a trip to charlie's and/or shay's, newbury comics, harvard yard, the crazy guy playing that one-stringed chinese fiddle-thing in front of the bank of america, a movie at the brattle theater (bruce campbell intro-ing bubba hotep tonight and terry gilliam films rest of the weekend), a visit to (as mlle calls him) "mr. and/or mrs. cardullo") at his/her eponomously named gourmet food store, a picture of click and clack's place (the law offices of dewey, cheatham, and howe), and wrap it up with a bowl of pho at pho pasteur (recently renamed "le's"). whew.

I don't seem to leave JP except for work. Well and to shop. I was in Allston today. We have a few good bars/pubs in JP though and a new one that's not half bad (the Alchemist). Not half great either, but not half bad...?

Hey Velouria's having a birthday party meet-up tomorrow night in at the Model in Allston. I will be watching the Ohio St-TX game beforehand at a nearby bar.

I'm confused. Is this unrelated to the almost-identical "Bodies" exhibit in NYC?

Man, we hadn't heard that name in these parts for years (literally -- it's probably been at least 2-3). Why she no posty here anymore?
