I caught them with Foreign Born and Rogue Wave last night. Only heard the album once, thought it was alright. The show was incredible, though.

The drummer looks like she's banging on pots and pans, not playing a full drum kit. The guitarist is the perfect straight man for the group. And the singer is nuts. She makes Karen O look restrained.

She flails and spins and jumps and kicks the entire set. Every song, all song, singing while doing so with vocals still coming out sounding as good as the record. I don't know where she gets the energy/stamina from.

I'm hoping to find pictures but she's tall, rail thin, and she was wearing a blue Olive Oyl-style dress with lime green tights. Quite the sight. She also has a tendency to make a fin behind her head with her hand and bark.


Suffice to say, Rogue Wave seemed kind of dull following that.

She's not very tall, standing next to me, she was maybe an inch taller. 5'5" - 5'6" mayyyybe.

Did she use her little twirly baton?

I guess she looked tall because of her dress and tights. And yaw, she had her pink ribbon that she was twirling around during one song. I wish I had brought my camera.
