Today isn't exactly a happy day for America, but at least there's one thing to be mildly celebratory about: the beginning of Sufjan Stevens' world tour. Stevens, his elegant backing band, and opening act My Brightest Diamond, set out across the continent starting tonight at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. They'll head to Europe in November, but will return just in time for the release of the Sufjan Stevens Xmas Spectacular.
