Just saw on the AP wire that Daniel Smith was found dead in his bed while visiting his mom in the hospital. She had a kid on Thursday in the Bahamas and has a private suite, it looks like.

Drugs and alcohol ruled out. Investigation underway .He was 20.

Weird-ass life that woman has.

Maybe Anna finally weaned him after the new kid was born. Cut off from the teat at 20. He couldn't cope.

Unofficial sources are saying it was a heart attack, but I think they're confusing Daniel Wayne Smith with St. Louis blues guitarist Benny Smith.
