Well, the silver lining is that I'm up against Santana Moss in the Obner league, as long as the Raiders put some points on the board I should win week one.

We switched to Life on Mars on BBC-America, so I missed the end of the game--Ladell Betts ain't the guy--wait 'til Duckett sees gametime.

Wow the Raiders are a bad football team. The D looks solid, but Brooks should not be collecting an NFL paycheck.

I completely agree, the Raiders offense looked like a High School team out there. I'm amazed that this only the second time they were shutout at home in franchise history.

The Chargers D looked solid and Rivers did exactly what he was asked to do to (hand the ball off to LT). As the season progresses, I think they will let him throw more and display some of his great accuracy and moxy (though 8-11 with a TD ain't bad). Not a bad start for Philip, I'd say.

Redskins vs. Vikings:

Did anyone think the personal foul against Sean Taylor was a ridiculous call. The guy hits hard as hell and it makes watching football that much more exciting. I cannot believe that they gave him a 15 yard penalty for that hit. When I watched the replay and all I couldn't even figure out exactly why they called it on him.
