 Post subject: Why didn't anybody tell me Bruce Gary died?

I had to find it out in the new Rolling Stone. :x

Gary was the drummer for the Knack, and before you turn the page, he was a most excellent player, becoming a top session drummer after the Knack broke up in '81.

For an example of some of his great playing, check the local cutout bins for the reformed Knack's '91 release, Serious Fun. The man could play. The songs aren't bad, either.

He died of lymphoma. RIP, Bruce.

I wouldn't say his death was all over the news, but it got a good amount of coverage.

And there was a Knack thread here just the other day...not about Bruce, though. Search using the word "misogynistic".

And Billy Ward played on "Serious Fun".

You ever see the "Getting The Knack" DVD? Good stuff.
