They're playing here, which is kind of a big deal for this burg. $12 in advance.

Yeah, I know what their live shows are like, I've been to early shows. I used to like them way back when, around the time of the first 3 albums.

Anyone seen them lately? Any of the later discs worth a fuck?

An American Original FISHBONE has been performing for over 20 years and are still as energetic as ever. They will be performing their mix of Ska/Funk/Metal along side Berkeley's THE UPTONES and Reved Up Rockabilly act THE CHOP TOPS.

I got roofied at a Fishbone show, so hell yeah, go see them.

I've seen them three times, I think. Maybe four. And each time was really fun. Except for the roofie show.

I would go. They always seem to throwdown quite a good dance party.

I saw them at vans warped tour (damn...f'n 10 years ago!), they sounded great, and they dissed out some meatheads because they were being dicks in the pit.

go for it.

Go for it!
The second time I saw them (about 8 years ago) wasn't nearly as good as the first (in 1988), but who the hell knows with those crazy mofo.
GO!

Me too!

Last time I saw them was in 99 and they were definitely on the upswing, performance wise, from the previous couple times i'd caught them.

They headlined, and the openers were some crappy ska band from California, Snot (who were decent), and Nashville Pussy (who also melted face).

It was a pretty sweet show.
