She just called me because "Live and Let Die" came on the radio and she wanted to sing along with it to me over the phone.

A lusty, full-throated version... you could hear her smiling...

"LIVE AND LET DYYYEEEEEEE!!!!"

Sharon: "I love this song. But then, I love just about anything Paul McCartney does."

And all you "John rocks, Paul sucks" people can keep it to yourselves, damnit!

I love this song primarily for the blatant redundancy of Paul's lyrics...

To wit: "And in this ever-changing world in which we live in."

I believe I wrote of that, only to have another Obner correct me, via a lyrics guide: "and in this ever-changing world in which we're livin'".

Keep bringing your wife up Todd and she's fair game. Just a friendly warning.

And by the way, shouldn't this thread have been titled, "Why I love my wife." Just sayin...

Does this have anything to do with your "other" thread?

I thought it was "and if this ever-changing world in which we're livin'".

Otherwise, how would "makes you give in and cry" make sense?

Oh Chris, instead of casting doubt upon my love for my wife, just admit that it's all about jealousy and that you want to fuck me...

I must pass the credit on to Weird Al for that one. He mentioned it in an interview my friend did with him. Said he had wanted to record it but that the McCartneys refused to let him because they were staunch vegetarians.
