I read this the wrong way at first.

Tonight: Drive north for a wedding.

Tomorrow: Attend said wedding, drive home late afterwards... dicey.

Sunday: Local street festival takes over the street right in front of my house, so front porch bloody maries & people-watching, then walking down to see a concert or two perhaps. Most importantly, gotta keep hippies from pissing around back of my house. I should rent a pressure washer.

so what block of willy are you on? we're on rutledge now, in the 1300's. got no plans this weekend, so we'll probably be checking out the fair, let me know if you're interested in meeting up.

We're on the 1000 block. 'Twixt Mad Cat and Roman Candle, but on the other side of the street. We'll be out there from around the time things kick off (11?) so stop by and meet the wife. Plus it'll be a nice respite from the sea of unwashed hippiness.

Come Sunday I'm gonna be both hungover AND drunk, if my guess is correct, so my ass will be planted here. I know I'll walk down and see my boys the kissers when they play, probably have Ken (singer) and his girl over for a bit, otherwise anything that involves me sitting here and not wierding out my wife is A-OK. (That definately includes you stopping by).

She gets a charge out of bein' so weird,
Digs gettin' downright strange.
But I can keep a handle on anything,
Just this side of deranged.
She was gettin' bombed,
And I was gettin' blown away,
And she held it in her hand
And this is what she had to say...a pearl necklace.
She wanna pearl necklace.
She wanna pearl necklace.

Baby, I'd call you Madame Sexpot (you know, or some such name) if it made you happy.

Damn. Am I ever a lazy-ass!

Went to bed at frickin' 1:00am
got woken up by the phone at 11:54am
and felt sooooo tired.

I swear I could have slept another 2 hours at least.

How is it possible that a non-teenager still needs 12 hours of sleep on the weekends????

Last night: GF ad I walked up to Village bar for a burger and a couple beers.

Today: Not a god damn thang! Well except watching football. My girl and I haven't had a weekend alone in MONTHS! I'm enjoying the fuck out of it right now. Just had my second Lake Louie Scotch Ale and my lady is cooking me up a grilled chz samich. Life is GOOD.

Tomorrow: A bit of work around the house. But as much mongering as the both of us can handle. Which these days is a helluva lot.

GO DAWGS!

Artie Lang's Beer League at Midnight!

How was it?

Thursday: Worked, Went to eat and then to see Mika Miko, Erase Errata & The Gossip and there were butch lesbians aplenty. Made it to the local bar with about 90 minutes to spare and drank heavily. Saw some dudes hanging all over some trannies and proceeded to make fun of them (not to their faces of course) except someone in my group actually decided to do that and one of the dudes went after him and got thrown out onto the sidewalk and had a knee promptly placed on his neck by the bouncer until the cops showed up. All the while one of the trannies was shrieking hysterically. Hilarious. Then I went home and attempted to watch Underworld but fell asleep.

Friday: Slept in, made a mix cd for a friend, went and got a haircut, hung out with my friend for awhile and then we went to some lame party, which probably was only lame because someone got stabbed across the street earlier and the stabbee was hiding in their backyard. So the cops came and were in the process of kicking everyone out but just decided to leave. So we drank a few more beers and then tried to go to a bar but it was already past last call by that point so I just drove everyone home, and finally got to watch Underworld. It was just as lame at the first time I saw it, though it was nice to see Bill Nighy in it and Kate wasn't bad either.

Saturday: Slept til 1, did a lot of nothing during the day except play with my Numark Axis 9 (holy fuck, it's awesome!) and goof around online. I think I'm going out with some friends that are going dancing though I really don't see myself actually dancing unless I get trashed.
