I have no dogs in this fight, but when Instant Replay stops the game twice at the end to make the WRONG CALL BOTH TIMES, why not just get rid of it and let the call on the field stand as is?

yeah they need to cut back on it at least and say only coaches challenge - maybe once per half at most. way too many stoppages.

I think they should stop letting Punters/Kickers wear goofy numbers like 97 and just put a P or K on their jersey. It's not like they are doing anything else anyway.

I am really hating this run on the first two downs and then trying to throw a short pass on third down. If they would get a little creative, they might have a touchdown by now.
USC is good, and a lot better than Nebraska, but they aren't good enough to completely be vanilla and conservative against to stay in the game.
I really hope Nebraska adds a touchdown here before it gets too bad.

Touchdown Nebraska on a naked bootleg by Zac Taylor, Nebraska is only down by 11.

Dang, They just couldn't slow USC down when they had a chance.
If they can run the clock out without allowing another USC point or score somehow, then USC can't cover the spread.
I really hope the Huskers don't drop too far in the rankings, they played a hell of alot better against a top five team than did Notre Dame.

Any opinion on taking the under (46.5) in this FSU-Clemson game?

I just dont see them scoring that many points.

Normally, I'd say take the under, because I think FSU's offense is horrid, and they have that stout defense. Something in me, says that either FSU will take Clemson to the woodshed and put up atleast 30 by themselves or that we will see another overtime score similar to last weeks BC-Clemson game.

Took the under and the total came in at 47...

This FLA-TENN game has been awesome btw. Reminds me of one of those classic matchups from the 90's.

Whoo, I thought Pete Carroll was going to be classless for a moment and punch one in late.
Nebraska looked good on Defense against a good team, the offensive game plan was pretty tame and not aggressive enough.
I don't think it would have been much closer, but I think Nebraska might have put up 14-17 instead of 10 with a more aggressive game plan.
At least they didn't hang 50 on us like what Mark May thought.

beating the spread is not necessarily being classless.

Son of a bitch. I'm still pissed. Between Jamarcus's mental mistakes and some truly awful calls, we didn't have a chance. I still feel like we were the better team. But so it goes.

What I want to know is how in the hell did they reverse that catch in the first half? That killed our momentum. College instant replay is just a chance for the ref to fuck it up more.

Also you should read Auburn's comments on how filthy LSU's defense is and read the report on how beat up Auburn is.

funny how much your feelings mirror my feelings about a totally different game...it'll be interesting to see how OU responds next week at home against a big underdog

Typically, I would agree, but I think there is an unwritten rule about kicking a FG, running a trick play or throwing a pass to score a td in the last minute. USC was gobbling up enough running the ball to punch one in, if they would have taken a timeout to stop the clock.
I would have found it classless, since in the 1996 Fiesta Bowl, Nebraska knelt the ball on a 1st and goal play from the 1yd line to prevent the score from being 69-24. The Huskers fourth string RB broke a long run and was tackled at the one.

Congrats to syracuse on beating the illini and snapping the 11 game losing streak.

Who think ill. doesn't win another game this season? They still have IU, Ohio, and Purdue and NW.
