Turns out the Zoloft my mother-in-law sent me a few weeks ago is actually Lunesta. I've been taking a SLEEP AID first thing in the morning for the past several weeks.

So, in addition to not receiving my usual anxiety-reducing/mood-stabilizing medication, I've been fighting to stay awake every day for weeks on end. No wonder I was destroying furniture during that ND-Michigan game earlier today.

The moral to this story is always (and I mean ALWAYS) get your prescriptions directly from a pharmacy, and not via an easily confused 70-something woman.

Just be thankful she wasn't slipping you birth control pills or somethin'.

Our co-pay went up right around the time my mother-in-law decided Zoloft wasn't really getting it done for her, so she offered to just keep sending me her prescription so I didn't have to fork over the co-pay for mine. It had worked fine for multiple refills prior to this, but I should have realized something was up when the pills in the last shipment were a different shape than usual.

Yeah, my main fear when I found out the pills I've been taking weren't Zoloft (before I found out they were Lunesta) was that I was being pumped full of some type of estrogen supplement or some such. I was worried I might have started growing ovaries or something.

I'll take some of that Lunesta.
