Yeah, I got fed up with waiting for some shitty dj store to send me the dual deck cd player i ordered BACK IN MAY and found a really good price on this and just ordered it. I haven't really read through the instructions yet and have just been messing around with it but it's pretty amazing. You can loop parts of songs, put them in reverse, scratch them and a bunch of other effects. I love letting a song play for like 8 seconds with the effects on scratch and spin the wheel backwards. It rewinds to the beginning and starts right up again with no lag like there'd be on a turntable. You can make shit sound all Daft Punk too and just bring in the bass and shit. I'm definitely saving up to get another one.

Apparently tonight also involves drinking many many martinis, smoking many joints.... and drunk posting.

Last night I drank a lot of vodka and played a lot of bad pool at a bar where one of the bartenders looked exactly like Jim Carrey. The other bartender was the most adorable girl ever. No question about it.

So the street festival is going on in front of the house now. Posting just 20 feet away from a bonafide hippy parade. Where's Ficky?

Yeah, it was fun. We ended up going to a near-by park and hanging out (and puffin' a little)... the whole place was covered in fog. Very beautiful.

My friends are naughty people:

- one "forced" me to go for afternoon martinis, followed by inebriated record-shopping (bad idea kiddies).

- and the other plied me with many a sweet joint (and more martinis).

i'm fucking exhausted. Went to the show with the girl and neuro (mrs. neuro had a prior function) and had a blast. The Neuros are good people, this much is true. I, however, amd not, since due to my being an idiot we ended up waiting at Penn Station from 1:35 until 5:14 AM waiting for our next train (yes, I did initially think "might as well finish the job and get wasted", but I had to drive half the way back home). so The lady caught some sleep and I stayed up listening to those Stones bootlegs, smoking many, many cigarettes, and having conversations with far more homeless people/prostitutes/crazy people than I care to remember. Got in around 9 and woken up at noon by Crack, who was in Philly being all healthy and shit, and his wife, . Had a blast with them the the rest of the weekend (well, most of it), despite only drinking a case of beer between the four of us. Which, sadly, is a new record. I figured that I've received 16 hours of sleep since wednesday night and I promised someone I'd compile a mix for them tonight, so it ain't gonna get better any time soon.
