I'm kind of torn on this issue. I see where it is proper and polite to offer it back Yet, if they weren't able to attend it originally, one should assume they can't attend the event at anytime.
I feel that if I gave up a ticket, it is no longer in my possession and is now owned by the person I gave it to.

Disagree. The chance of a date-specific scheduling conflict is pretty high, especially if they're season tickets.

Offer unless you know for sure they can't make the re-scheduled date (out of town, for example).

I'd say give them back...but if you were really psyched about going then try and make a decent offer for them.

tough one. but i'd give them the tickets back. and if they end up going to the rescheduled game, most likely that person will take you. at least, that's what i would do.

I say you ask them to go with you. (and only charge them half the face value. )
