Yeah, my son didn't even want to go out today. He thought the snow seemed kind of scary for driving and walking in.

Out our window quite often you can't even see anything but white coming down.

And our frigging satellite dish is covered in snow so the cable is out in our whole bldg so that sucks. Luckily we have movies or we'd be bored as hell. And my husband is playing rock star in Iowa all weekend, so he gets to have some fun while I deal with a bored 7 yr old.

sorry phil :nono:

we just got back from playing outside with the boy. I was a little too dark and windy for him to enjoy it. His face got all red, and he didn't like the snow blowing in his face, but i had fun on the sled

We got a half a foot today to get us warmed up for the extra snow showers in the morning and the 30+ MPH winds. Wooohoo!

Spray Pam (the cooking spray) on the dish if you can get at it.
Rainex also works pretty well.

So fuck you all with your sun and fun and "it's so nice here."

Fuck you all, I say, and I hope you step on rusty nails walking on your damn beaches.

Weather's great here, but I'm hanging out in my office with a contest success function in trouble, if that's any consolation. My almost never-seen officemate turned up an hour or so ago with her boyfriend and they left hastily; I think they had hot office sex fantasies planned or something. Even in CA, they can't get no satisfaction.

Guess that makes up for the seven hurricanes you had over the summer.

How do you know they didn't have sex, regardless your presence?

How 'bout that?

And, me, I would have offered to join. You, though, are a spinster*.

* Please, note: I (for once) changed the emoticon which accompanies my post, and with such, I mean for the noun usage "spinster" to be taken tongue-in-cheek.

He stayed out in the hall giggling. I suppose it depends on how rigidly you define sex, of course.

And see, that's why you're not an economist! How could I just abandon my troubled function like that?

Well, I know he's not an economist, but he's got sort of an academic's reputation... Whatever you think of his LatAm politic (I did not like it).... But, Kissinger is a straight-up playa, fool.

Just get down with your inner (sexual) Kissinger then, whenever the opportunity should present itself.
