Or bugging Wilco's tour manager till he makes me the drum and/or bass tech.

Sure, i'd be a roadie. Wouldn't you?

Yeah but you'd have to shave your head and paint yourself blue.

Is fame really worth that???

shaving my head is my preferred look.

I think i'm an inch too short to try out to be an actual blue man, but i can be a bassist in the pit.

and blue man's bassists are behind a dark sheet of glass, and they don't have to shave or paint.

This is true, but then you're stuck being the bassist.

I would much rather see you play "Cabbage Roll" at the Jazz Cafe than not see you while watching Blue Man Group, but that's just me.

I know where Tony Margherita lives. You want I should pay him a visit?

My friend Jason auditioned for BMG. He made it to the absolute final finals and lost to some douchebag in NYC. He's the best drummer I know, 6'2, thin, already f'ing bald for f's sake and he lost.

Is there a Jam equivalent down there? You might try bugging them for work. I know that Jam up here is always looking for PAs.
