I need the collective wisdom of the Obner. Here's the deal: I'm working on a project that requires a few thousand different ways to cuss out somebody. Specifically, I'm looking for the patois that folks of Cuban, Italian, Colombian, Bolivian, and African-American heritages might use. I can't divulge the nature of the project yet (had to sign a non-disclosure agreement), but I'll own up to it when I can.

As a sorta guideline, think thugs. Thugs, guns, and heroin. Think gang wars, pissing contests, and macho bluster. Start with "what're you lookin' at, puto/ asshole/ beeyotch" and fan out from there. I know Obner can help - 'cuz I know some of you folks are seriously good at this shit.

Slang me!

(if it helps, imagine you're saying this shit to my face) ;)

I'm Colombian, but all I can provide are pendejo and maricon. They're pretty generic hispanic curses.

I'm pretty "white" outside of the house, and the household isn't into cussin'.

Yeh, I've been using maricon all over the place. What does pendejo mean?

Edit: nevermind. I just found the translation for pendejo. Nice one!

Thanks for reminding me, I need Southern US cracker slang as well. Bucknasty and Bloor should be walking slangopedias on that count. Bring the ruckus!

In great stretches of the U.S. South, the word "Goddamn" is a big no-no. Some assholes also take the time to abbreviate it "G.D."

I've also noticed that calling someone a "butthole" is much worse in North LA/Southern Ark. than most parts of the country.

Hmmm...dunno if my further southern brethren use these terms, but do know that many Mexican and Central Americans do:

culero
joto
verga (or derivative thereof, ie, 'te voy a dar un vergazo')
chingar (or derivative thereof, ie, 'te voy a dar un chingazo')

Any insults towards one's mother is a HUGE 'no-no' in the Latin culture.

Yard ape!

Another spanish insult I remember is culo (asshole). I don't know about its spelling, though.

There are loads of Scottish swear words such as Dobber, Stauner, Fud, Fando, Tadg and Bawbag.

One of my favourites is Starfish which roughly translates as "arsehole".

I've always been a big fan of "oh,oh,oh Heeeeeellll No, I'll kill everybody in this muthafucka"

or "I'll burn this bitch down you get me pissed"

Referring to inanimate object as "this bitch" is always good

Also, for conversational purposes, I like "Well if it's fuck me, you know its fuck you"

I'll think on this some more, between me and my boy Scotty D, I should be able to get you a million Dirty style phrases.

Also, if there's going to be fisticuffs, but not gun violence, I am a fan of saying "I'll beat the brakes off you," and "I'll stomp a mudhole in your ass and then kick it dry"

And for the what are you looking at type stuff, I've been a fan of "What the fuck IS you lookin' at" since Ghostface screams it at some dude in that song from the Raekwon albm that has Nas on it.

liberal use of "fake fucks" "Bustas" and "the punk po-lice" are always good as well.

It only works if I can say it in person. Otherwise, I'm of no help. ;)

the worst spanish curse i know is "mi caguen la madre" which literally translates into "i shit on the virgin mary." there's a loophole, though, that you add "de los tomates" and all's good because is there really a mother of the tomatoes? my grandmother launches that one all the time.

Awright, the project isn't finished yet (I just got sent another 15 characters), but they've got a preliminary website up so I think it's fairgame to spill what y'all have been helping with.

Scarface: the game

Thanks to all who tried to help. And - lord help me - I managed to work "rotary phone-dialin'" into this biatch.
