I'm actually surprised I have never given them a proper listen with their ties to Rodan. I usually ignore the PopTodd/Shrimpboat related threads for some reason. I'd probably give it a listen the next time a YSI comes up.

It's a matter of principle. The Smarmy Guy Code Of Ethics calls for me to not listen until I stumble upon them myself. One can't let oneself be beaten into submission by amiable but unrelenting Fan Boyism.

Yeah, I'm curious to hear what they sound like but the constant mentioning of them just makes me want to listen to them less.

Never really listened to them either. I always assumed that they would sound like Sea & Cake or that Sam Prekop album I used to have, both of which make me yawn.
