My 60 only has a little over 1G of space left and I was planning to get the new 80. Ultimately I want to keep pre-2006 releases on my 60 and devote all 2006 releases and beyond to the 80. As it stands now itunes automatically updates my music into the 60. Obviously I would have to begin manually updating the songs/albums once I get the 80. This will initially prove to be an enormous pain in the ass considering the inordinate unchecking of boxes I will have to do. Anyway, has anyone attempted anything similar and if so I could use any advice you might have. I this even doable? Thanks.

I tried to find a pic of the judge from Harvey Birdman to coincide with that comment.

Have a 30 gig video and a 1 gig shuffle. I use the shuffle, and just load it with whatever has my attention at the moment. Wife uses the 30.

The missus just won an 1G ipod nano, so that makes two for this household.

I just bought my 1st one (30 gb) this afternoon so's I can have tunes on all those long plane rides coming up. First listen going on now, and I can see some upgraded earphones in the very near future.

Don't have one, but my daughter has asked me at least 700 times if she can get one.

I think the caveat to that deal would be that you would get her one, if you loaded on all the music for her.

i update all of ours manually and i've never unchecked all those little boxes, just the one in the settings that says "update manually". honestly i don't even know what the little blue checkboxes are for, they don't seem to do anything.

Fiance has a Mini and I have a Nano (replacement for my 20g); I can see an 80 in my future though.
