BEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSS!
Snatches the victory from the jaws of defeat in the last two minutes of the game by sheer will and the reliance on Minnesota to fuck things up when the game is on the line.
O-GUN
GROSSMAN
DAVIS
MUHAMMAD
Man, what a close one. Definitely the most exciting, nail-biting game they've played thus far. It took me a full hour to wind down from this one. My voice is hoarse.
Questions, thoughts, and commentary:
Our O-line didn't look that great IMHO. The Vikings only got one sack but Grossman was repeatedly pressured throughout he game. Olin Kreutz in particular did not perform up to his past ability.
Penalties. Too many got-damn penalties.
Another absence of a good running game here. So, is our O-line that weak, the run defenses we've faced that good, or is T. Jones looking that
bad?
Gould repeatedly stepped up to save our ass to keep the game close when the Bears' offense couldn't find the end zone. He had a career high kick of 49 yards, and was 4/4. Excellent.
Our red zone conversions to touchdowns are perhaps the most critical thing the Bears need to work on in the immediate future.
Rex Grossman, despite his mostly subpar performance today came through big when The Bears needed it most. He stepped up where it counted and continued to show flashes of brilliance.
BRING ON THE SEA CHICKENS!
