by Robert Greenfield from his forthcoming book: "Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with The Rolling Stones."

That is all.

He wrote STP: A journey through America With the Rollin Stones (about the 1972 Tour) and also, apparently some books about Leary and Jerry. Looks like this one is all about The Stones as Villa Nellcote sur Mer, and the recording of The Greatest Rock and Roll album of all time.

Hey, you live near the ocean, you rename your shitty house "Villa Nellcote Sur Mer," my shotgun shack down here in Bammy is gonna be christened "Stargroves."

Cool, I'm picking this up tomorrow. Looks like the book is out November 30th. I'm gonna order this and S.T.P. for some winter reading.

STP is good shit cholly, I liked Up and Down w/ and True Adventures of better, but definitely something to have in the archives.

We are preparing for a garage sale this weekend, and Femgar had the laughable idea of SELLING SOME OF MY BOOKS I had a gooood chuckle at that one.

Sweet, I'm gonna order these up.

And selling books? That's madness, pure and simple. I'd eat the books before I sold them.

Yeah, you can't sell those books. I'm not done reading them all yet.

Loogs, I think that Greenfield book may still be here.

Funny, cos I was thinking "Did I get that?" I haven't unpacked any of those ones I snagged from Redlands...I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE!!

Its funny that she mentioned that as well, because HALF OF MY BOOKS were destroyed anyway.

Yeah, it and your old paperback copy of Lono turned up when I set my office bookshelves back up. No fears, they be safe.

I have misplaced my copy of Rum Diary (I have the dust jacket and remember seeing yours with both book and dj) so if you see a copy of just the book lying around--holla.

I just read the article. and thought it sucked. I might have to go reread that Keef bio just to clear my head of it.

Jesus, that means I'd also have to buy a Hustler or a Gay Sailor Quarterly so I'd have something to place over that RS just to avoid embarassment when I walked out of the store.

yeah, the Bockris one. I seem to remember liking it more than the Booth one, but have no recollection as to why.
