The thought of Kissenger getting it on is a real turn off for me, monty. I think I'd rather shovel snow. But you have fun.

dOOdz, the man was married to a model. He used to party at the Playboy Mansion. He is one randy mo'fucka.

Plus, I think the ONION has me beat for considering (at length) Msr Kissinger's sexual prowess, since it featured an article some years back headlined "Kissinger ejected from U.S. News and World Report Mansion Party" and which featured a doctored (?) photo of a depantsed Hank passed out afore the porcelain altar.

P.S. Sexual Kissinger will be the name of a future Oberstian-Saddle Creek side-project.

Are you turning into Newman? I recall he didn't work for inclement weather either... Which would seem to defy the Postal Creed, the whole "Nor rain nor sleet nor snow, etc.".

During a snowstorm last year, I went to work, set up my route and loaded it into my car, drove around for about 45 minutes and came back to the office and said I couldn't deliver anything.

Cary and Ethan are sick, so we couldn't take them sledding.
Too bad though, because yesterday would have been perfect for it.

Are you as cute as Bjork when you're bundled up in your mucklucks and parka?

At least it's normal here again.

I know it was once asked of me "are you sure you've lived in Chicago your whole life?" because I act as if winter is something new every time it snows. I just don't like the super cold and sometimes the snow(but I generally like snow, don't get me wrong).

My son is especially happy, as was Josh last night, that the cable came back on yesterday early afternoon.

I've lived in northern Maine for 36 of my 38 years and still act as if winter is something new to me. That's because I hate it.

Well, I don't hate "movie winter," yah know where there's big fluffy snow and sunshine and no wind and everyone is out frolicking on sleds and sleighs and snowshoes and life is just all sweet ducky Thomas Kinkade/Norman Rockwell lovely.

Trouble is, that kind winter is nearly non-existant north of Bangor. Here, it's 30 mph winds and below zero at least a third of the winter. If I didn't have a house and friends and family here, I'd have left long ago.

Guess that makes up for the seven hurricanes you had over the summer.

yeah, i'll stick with the 7 bad days of weather a year thank you very much.

now, what to do tomorrow.....go surfing or just lay out and read.
Wait, you consider a hurricane just a "...bad day of weather..."? Fine. Go ahead. Downplay the bad points.

But don't come crawling back to us for sympathy when you get ...erm... 'soaked' next hurricane season.

i just dug out my car today from the weekend's snow. and i was thinking of how good my car usually is in the snow when i got stuck for 30 seconds in the middle of my street.

what is this in chicago with people leaving chairs, tables, water coolers in parking spots? is that some kinda "i shoveled this space out and it's mine" thing? regardless, i pulled off one of the finest parallel parking jobs ever today. i'm the closest car to the curb on my entire block with piles of snow surrounding me.
