We completed the 3-game sweep of the #1 seeded Magnums to earn the championship distinction. Yours truly finished the playoffs with a second best .571 batting average (20 for 35), 16 runs, 10 RBIs, and a solid glove.

What level league are you in...A? We're 2-1 for the season going into tonight. We should have won the one game since we almost run-ruled the other team, but we got over confident and let them come back on us. We won't make that mistake again.

My new league started and we are 1-0. We play tonite. Im off to a solid 2 for 3 start.

We lost our championship game in the summer league, in which I batted a paltry .429 after a late season slump.

I didn't make the caption. Deal with it. There is no formal level to the league. It's recreational-competitive. All the bad teams are filtered out by playoffs, and the playoffs are hard-fought. Neither fast-pitch nor slo-pitch, somewhere in between. It's a lot of fun.

Where are you guys that you're just starting seasons now?

I'm just anal when it comes to stuff like the caption...price I pay for being a graphic artist I guess. No biggie.

I'm in Houston, and we actually play about 80% of the year. We started up in late February and will play through the first part of December probably.

Each "season" is 5 weeks with double-headers each Tuesday night in the current league I'm in. Once we finish one, we roll right into the next season. It's a lot like you described, recreational competitive, but we'd probbaly fall into a B level depending on the league we were in.

I gotta move to a warmer clime. I can't take not being able to play tennis and baseball year round.
