So my other two roommates (i.e. not Senor Six) are insane night owls. They stay up till 8am and sleep in till 4 and sometimes 5pm.

They are usually pretty quiet, but damn, the past couple of nights have been a bit much.

Night before last: awoken by one roomie doing laundry at 4am.

Last night: awoken at frickin' 6:30AM (one hour before I have to get up for work) by huge thumping noises downstairs. I sprang out of bed and went downstairs to investigate (Senor Six is away) only to figure out that roomie #2 had brought someone home with him. Not, what I felt like envisioning as I tried desperately to fall back to sleep before my alarm went off.

So yeah, I'm sleepy and crabby.
Anyone else?

If you rasterbate to the sound of your roomate having sex, you'll probably sleep better after you've finished.

Even I can't believe I said that.

Sorry. It's late.

I am so beat up physically from softball, and playing 3.5 hours of basketball (for the first time, i played competitively in 13 years), that i could hardly sleep last night.

I had to be up by 5:30am this morning and went to bed about midnight thanks to the contender final. It was my own fault, but damn work is slow today and I could really use a long nap.

I can stay up till 2am and come in to work for 9:30 the next day... as it was I didn't get to bed till around 1:30am last night. I'm not usually in bed till around 12, even on an "early" night... but 6:30am... that a bit much.

I often find myself worrying about making noise cos I know they're sleeping, and then I realize it's, like, 4 in the afternoon.

Oh well. It's the being woken up part that sucks.

Unless they're shift workers or something I would wreak havoc during the day. I personally have always found the night people annoying as hell, especially when they lament "but I just can't sleep at night."

i started working an earlier shift (9:30 - 6) this week, and I feel great. I'm much more alert in the morning than the afternoon, which seems to drag on forever.

Heh heh. It's more like one doesn't work and the other works in restaurants and/or goes to afterhour bars till 6am.

Compared to some I am a nightowl, and I'm a big believer in sleeping in till, say, 11am if I can. But man, I haven't sleep in till 4pm since college (or since the last time I was ridiculously hung-over). I'd get so depressed if I started on that schedule.

Used to be one of those "can't sleep before 2am" people, then moved in with the Mrs, and she put a stop to it. I remember the first few months, laying in bed at 10pm, thinking "wtf?! It's almost still light outside!!" Now, if it gets to be 10:30 and I'm not in bed, I'm pissed.

Oh I call it that too. I'm beyond "grumpy," almost into "crotchety" territory.

Last night was awesome for sleep. I had some me time before bed, so I bathed, shaved and put on some clean jammies. Took notes on a bad Hustler movie before bed and crashed before 11:30. Feel great today.

I would tear some shit up if a roommate woke me up at 6:30am with sex.

No wonder the midwest has its TV programs start at 7pm. Everyone is in bed way too early!!

I have never been fucked in my sleep so I don't know if I would be mad or not.

Typically, it's the girl who's sleeping when I am having sex. Well, sleeping or unconscious.

i got a roomate whose loud like this, got up at 4 AM cuz he couldnt sleep anymore. I wouldnt normally care, but apparently he can't use the t.v. and the volume control at the same time. Shoved my earplugs a little bit deeper and missed my alarm today.

Yeah i have earplugs, cuz we're a snoring bunch... :D

My brother's nickname for me in the morning: "The Crabby Lion". 'Nuff said.

Goodness, tired again today... but this time it was due to heavy doses of rock'nroll, as well as the drink.

I got a rather good night of sleep and was fairly energetic once I got my coffee this morning, but work is so dreadfully boring today that I really want to leave early for no real reason except so I can take a nap or drink more coffee at home.
