But do other people call them FMB's? Cuz that's what matters.

[quote="pollysix"]Can't seem to find a picture online. They're basically slightyl above ankle level, with a bit of a heel and laces up the front, almost old-fashioned.

edit: Okay here's the closest I could find:

(guess they're not really in style!)

Salomon hiking boots about a year ago. Must have clocked up 500 miles in them at least without getting a single blister! Colour me impressed.

For day-to-day wear I only have a brown pair of 8 holer Doc Marten boots. I can't even remember when I bought them but I must have had them for at least 3 years.

sticking to shoes-proper, not sandals or anything half-footed like that, my last shoe purchase were some black doc martins.

i think it was either a pair of white pumas with a green and yellow stripe or some cole haan casual shoes - mint green and rust (pretty crazy shoes and hard to describe)

My father used to work for Bostonian. Every now & then he'd throw me a catalogue, I'd pick out 5 pair & they'd show up at my place. I'd appreciate it a helluva lot more now.

Oh, and last pair: Johnston & Murphy. Found em on sale at Macy's, believe it or not. Scooped 'em up.
