The pupils of our eyes dilate and grow larger when we see someone we're attracted to.

Whenever we see someone we like, the pupils of our eyes dilate and grow larger. It's almost as if our eyes are trying to see as much of this person as possible. This is an involuntary and uncontrollable physiological response.

Thus, you can often tell if a woman is attracted to you by observing her pupils, and noting whether they expand or contract (or maybe do nothing) when she looks at you. http://www.sosuave.com/articles/lookinto.htm

I'm so hungover, I can't even keep water down (just did the big spit in the sink)

Note to self: you are not Keith Richards

Chicago is called "The Windy City" not because the wind is particularly fierce, but as a reference to all the "hot air" blowing around in City Hall politics. The nickname was coined during planning for the 1892 Columbian Exposition, when City Hall battles got particularly fierce.

More than 100 years later, I'm amused to say that not much has changed at Washington and Lasalle.

Jon Brion's dad was a band director at Yale. No wonder he liked the rock and the roll.

Until she wa about 17 or 18. Liv Tyler thought that her dad was actually Todd Rundgren.
She changed her name to Tyler when she found out the truth about her parentage.

Funny thing is, she looks like she COULD be Rundgren's kid.

Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimmy Swaggert and Mickey Gilley are cousins.

Not groundbreaking, but I love that.

No, but her mother Bebe Buell was a very famous rock groupie. Incidentally, she was close friends with the girl who is portrayed in the movie "Almost Famous" as Penny Lane (played by Kate Hudson). "Penny Lane" lives on Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon. (that was my random interesting fact, that last bit).

Take away his 755 homeruns and Hank Aaron STILL has over 3,000 hits.

According to producer George Martin, it was the theme song to TV's Batman that inspired George Harrison to write Taxman
