For Jewels... at his request.

Barry Grose

I worked with him for a few months (he was temping with our company). When he showed me some of his paintings, I was blown away. An incredible sense of light and shadow is what impressed me the most.

A very cool guy, too.
I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

She makes cool, political art in her basement in my neighborhood. Check out some of her work here.

I was reminded of him cause he's got a show opening at the Milwaukee Art Museum today. I love his photographs.

I actually have really enjoyed looking at this guy's stuff:

Julian Beever

Some of them sidewalk ones look pretty darn real. It's cool at least.

I like those photos.

Really liking Banksy these days, but I guess so is everyone, so nothing new there.

this guy does these great top down photos
everything is 100% exactly straight down
so he stitches together dozens or hundreds of pictures to make one
they aren't nearly as impressive on the internet as in person

when i first saw them i thought maybe he had a helicopter and shit
but then i noticed there is zero perspective anywhere on the images

then i read that most of the shots are taken on this tripodish thing
from about 4 or 5 feet up

then he moves a foot - takes a picture
theres a deerstand image that would have been some crazy friggin work
