I posted earlier about the lack of recent drunk threads. I'm on my third beer. I'm going to take a short break here in a bit from the computer, but I'll try to get back on once I polish off my girlfriend's leftover beer from last weekend.

2 martini's after work; a glass of wine with dinner. I'm well on my way.

I feel like Ward Cleaver. Damn, that's a nice pearl necklace, June.

I really need to buy some wine tomorrow, but I don't know if that violates some man law while watching football.
I'd buy some Irish whiskey or scotch and beer, but I don't have that sort of wealth.

Wine and football do not violate any man laws---it better be a good red though. That, or a good jug of corn whiskey for your Cornhuskers.

The pearl necklace comment creeps me out a bit with the modern porno connotation.

It would be Red, I'm not a fan of white wine. I really like the robust red wines that I can open ASAP without chilling.

One of my best friends went to Nebraska, and is the biggest Cornhusker fan I know--he cracks a jug of corn whiskey every other weekend for the the Nebraska games---that shit is vile---like drinking rubbing alcohol, but he insists.

I have never personally drank corn whiskey here, it must be our version of moonshine.

unless T-Model Ford hands it to you. Then you pretty much have to drink it. and get laughed at when you make that face.

It is horrid stuff, to be sure. I've had it a few times and those were some blurry, slurry shmemories.

I drink that and Bushmills or Powers during Sain Paddy's day, I also eat a ton of cornbeef, pumpernickel bread and Irish potatoes cooked in guinness and I believe caraway seeds.
