and that Jose Gonzalez song?

Quote:
Sending 250,000 multi-coloured 'superballs' bouncing down the streets of San Francisco may seem the strangest way to do this, but that's exactly what Danish director Nicolai Fuglsig did for the BRAVIA commercial in July this year. San Franciscans have seen some unusual things in their time, but even this gave them something to talk about. And we've got the feeling that this commercial is going to do exactly the same thing.

There's a long and a short version here

Sony just did another one of these where projected paint via explosions from the windows of a building that was going to be demolished. The colors changed as the explosions progressed higher on the building. Should be good.

It was filmed in Glasgow but I'm not sure where or I would have went and watched.

Cool commercial but it must've sucked to have to pick all those balls up afterwards.

Yeah this has been on here for a while, and actually reminded me how much I liked the original Heartbeats so I picked up that album.

On a side note, there's a good add on here advertising Melbourne of all things making use of Joanna Newsom's Sprout and the Bean. Kind of reminds me of the Sony add since it has two people rolling out giant balls of coloured string around the city till they find each other

Wait, I think the Knife's version is the original, or is that what you meant?

There are few inventions as mindlessly time consuming as the superball.

Awesome, thanks for posting this.

That doesn't even look real at points. Like it's CGI. But I've seen Letterman pour big buckets of superballs off the top of his building before and it's a similar look.
