And who the fuck needs to take revenge on the Amish? I guess there's no way to ever make sense of crazy people killing people, but this seems particularly messed up.

i would assume he had close ties with the amish

theres lots of messed up reports about that (seemingly harmless) religion
and IMO plenty of reasons to go ape shitting

its really wierd that he shot only the girls
and that he tied them up

so im thinking he was someone brought from the outside
to help breed decent genes into a community
(they have rotten genes from a history of inbreeding
and are known to bring outsiders in for this kind of thing)
and twenty years later
he was so disturbed by what he did
that he decided to help the girls out a little bit

but
wouldnt be suprised if i was way off either

but now in reading that his suicide notes dont make any sense im kind of thinking it is just some random trucker gone crazy

seems pretty obvious that the CO shooting is what inspired this guy to go over the edge, given the similar characteristics (minus the sexual assault, of course)
